680 Vs 7970 Stock for stock, and is 2Gb Vram enough?

Is 2Gb of video memory enough for running todays games at 1080p maxed, and in the future?

Or is a 7970 in an equal price range better?

OR, should I push my price up for 4Gb of video memory?

2GB is more than enough for 1080p. Also get the 7970 they tend to perform better and will actually OC now that Nvidia has cracked down.

for a single monitor at 1080p ngb is all you need, you will need more for multi monitor setups, as for 680 v 7970, they are about thhe same so get whats cheaper
