Hi guys, I've got a PNY 650Ti for my 2nd PC (HTPC) and was considering overclocking it. I already overclock my AMD 7950 with some success and was wondering what the differences between AMD and nvidia overclocking were and if this card is capable of overclocking through software. For the most part I've been ok with AMD overclocking but there have been times where stability issues have occured although I'm not sure if its overclock or drivers (Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor Warfighter are unstable). Go for it, if your overclock is unstable just reset the clocks to stock, as far as amd and nvidia overclocking, I haven't seen any differences between the cards ive had, just use msi afterburner or something similar
It should overclock some. I had no issues overclocking my 560 Ti.
Ok I'll give it a go, likely in afterburner.
