~$650 build for BF4, no HD

Just got into BF4 Beta and my machine can barely run it on the lowest settings. My computer is probably 3+ years old, so I figured it was time for an upgrade. It's an i5 with an Nvidia 460 and 4GB of RAM.

I'm still trying to do it on the cheap, but I can pull an SSD and other HDs from other machines. I'm willing to spend more to get the best bang for my buck, but from everything I've seen online this is the best option. I welcome any feedback, I haven't bought AMD in years, and being in the server world the video card market has passed me by. I'm just going off of what other sites have mentioned and benchmarks with BF4.

If you really need it to be under $650 before rebates get a Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard instead other wise that one will be good

Your build is pretty much spot on, if you add a cpu cooler you can overclock it and gain much more performance... if i were to change a few things to gain more performance it would be:

i had changed the: case so you can fit the cpu cooler, and the psu as its better value for money

In addition i added an intel version just to show you other options.

Great build.  It'd be what I'd put together.
