Can I use 64-bit drivers on a 32-bit OS?
I've tried installing 64-bit drivers on a 32-bit OS before, seemed to work. But I'm inclined to think that the drivers don't work as well because they were made for a 64-bit OS. Am I correct in my thinking?

As far as i know a 64 bit driver will not work on a 32 bit system.
Not without issues it wont, you may not get them now but chances are something will give later, always stick to the system bit, so 32bit drivers for 32bit systems and vice versa.
