60TB Hard Drives

So I was reading an old article: http://storageeffect.media.seagate.com/business/paving-the-way-for-big-hard-drive-capacity-gains/

and they state that with this technology there is a theoretical max of 30-60TBs for 3.5 inch drives. How likely is that or is it just a statement to grab attention? Could we see drives with even 25TBs in a single 3.5 inch drive? If so how far away is that and is it even something worth doing? Do SSD makers plan on going that high or even higher without compromising the max number of writes?

They should just make 5.25" hard drives again with massive storage capacities.

I'd rather sell these, but with petabytes of storage. They could be an entire NAS.

Might need some shielding on that thing

I need to find my big foot hard drive, that thing was awesome.
