$600 Gaming PC!

New user here and first time buy/builder (for gaming). So I'am looking for a Custom Built system for right around $600.

I looked at a this part list: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor  -  Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard  -  Kingston Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  -  Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  -  MSI Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card  -  NZXT Gamma Classic (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  -  Corsair CX 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply.

This is the link to the build on pcpartpicker: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1EnwP

Please let me know of anything you would change or just any advice

Thanks!

For that budget, that build is almost ideal. There are a few changes you could implement, however. In this build, I added a higher quality PSU, and a aftermarket CPU cooler. You Still won't be able to voerclock, but your machine will be much quieter. I also added a higher quality case.

This will be more overclockable for the money and with that motherboard and cpu cooler can easy run at 4ghz

Ok Thanks!

I'm going to have to agree with ragingh4vok on this one.
The Sapphire card he has put in the build has a higher base clock than the MSI in the initial build, and aslo has the same cooling potential, all for 20 dollars less.

The XFX Power supplies are nice. I'm always a bit iffy when it comes to the CX series since they had some awful voltage ripple in the past.

The motherboard gives the ability to mildly overclock your system if you choose to do so. If not, it does have quite a few more expansion options than the Asus.

The only issue I can see with the build is the RAM. It would be preferrable to have a 1.5v kit for efficiency and compatibility. Check out the G.Skill Aries series.
