Hi guys long story short I got a GTX 960 to replace my 660, it requires only a sing 8-pin which is nice but I can't find where I left my damn cables for my PSU D=, I'm currently using the dual molex to 8-pin that came with it which works perfectly fine but make the cable management look ugly as fuck.
Was just thinking of ordering in one of those 6-pin to 8-pin adapters and just sleeving it (or buy one pre-sleeved if any) just wanted to know if those adapters are any good?
As long as your power supply is decent should be okay. Additionally you could look up the schematics for your particular 960 it may only need a 6 pin plugged in to function
Those adapters work fine. I've used them in a number of scenarios before and they always seem to hold up well.

Cheers guys, was going to order one but in the end I just swapped out the PSU for another one, it's non modular but at least it has an 8pin hard wired in so it looks far less awful, also noticed I said 960 twice in the original post I was actually meant to say 760, I just managed to mistype it twice >.<
