I’m building a new workstation for the office and advice on PSU and mobo+ram would be appreciated. Reusing P500A case, so that part is fixed. It’s pretty much a no-compromise build otherwise. Current state of the build can be found here:

Bear in mind that the 3090 is just a placeholder for calculating wattage for future expansion - for the first few months the card in there will be an old 1070.
With dark hero out of stock everywhere, I might settle for vanilla hero. 128GB of memory is mandatory, so I’m taking any advice on the memory choice for those two boards. I’ve noticed asus having a lot shorter qvl list for mobo than memory manufacturers. When it comes to memory compatibility - can I trust g.skill’s ram configurator thing when it claims a kit is compatible even though it’s not on the mobo’s qvl?
On the topic of PSU, how much wattage would you actually recommend for this build? According to pcpartpicker system draw gets up to 751W. I might add more drives in there aswell. CPU load will often be 100% for hours and sometimes even days. I do not under any circumstance want to skimp on the PSU. Budget is not an issue here. With all this in mind - is 1200W too much? Thinking of AX series, but might settle for HX due to availability. (jonnyguru please come back ).
The number one priority for the system would be stability and longevity.
Many thanks,
Bob
