I just found out a new trick.

Well, sometimes I write my numbers in base 1010, but usually just in base 10.

You can use any base you like, as long as 1 is the symbol for the first number in your numeral system and 0 represents zero, your number system is always a base "10" number system. That is unless you use a base one number system.
