I was wondering if this PSU is enough for a I7-4790K OC'ed to 4.7-4.8 maybe ?    Also powering a GTX 780 3gb Blower fan

Yes. Personally I'd search for something similarly capable but with 80Plus Gold certification. You have expensive parts so it's worth getting a really good power supply.

BTW does anyone know if a company that makes short wire kits for the connectors ?
