So I broke my phone like a couple months ago, which is fine because I really am not a heavy user. And I was looking at cheap phones and this caught my eye
(And Unbox Therapy just did a video on it) So it doesn't have great specs 1.5gbs of RAM? But I don't do much on my phone besides calls, Reddit, and quick searches. And having a huge battery is intriguing me, with my limited use how long could this phone last on a charge?
Have any of you used any BLU phones? I mean it is running Android 5.0, It has a 1080p AMOLED screen. And I mean that battery DOE! Thought?
I just wanna put it out there that you also have the option of the Moto G (2015) 8GB for that price. http://www.anandtech.com/show/9525/the-moto-g-2015-review/6 (link is to battery life benchmarks) Plus it's a really popular phone so you can expect good support for updates and custom roms if you're into that. Otherwise it does have a non-replaceable battery for a con.
I'm not saying get the Moto G (2015) but it's an option. The 8GB model only has 1GB of RAM, and the 16GB model is $40 extra and has 2GB of RAM.
It comes with android 5.1 and is supposed to get an update to Marshmallow.
I just ordered a 16GB so I'm really hoping it's good. lol
Interesting, but I agree that until someone does some real testing that number is pretty much just marketing. Biggest drawback with my Nexus 5 is the tiny battery. This thinness rage is just stupid. Give me a brickphone any day.
You can get the Xiaomi Power Bank 10000 mAh for dirt cheap depends on where you are. It's just about the size of those portable tissue packets and uses high quality batteries. Have two of them and don't really need to use my AC adapter to charge my One Plus One. Just be sure where your getting them from cause they are known to have fakes.
Edit* High quality battery most of it is internationally branded which is good.
As long as you're getting proper name brand batteries, samsung, sony, sanyo and so on its good. 18650s are probably the best form factor out there as well.
