Okay so I know how ignorant people are on youtube with their comments but someone posted that I was an idiot and you couldn't build a PC to run BF4 for around $500-$600 bucks.
Could someone build me a PC using parts picker so I can just demolish this idiot.

40$ RAM 1x4GB
100$ F2-A85XM-A
250$ GTX 760

This with an R7 265 will play BF4 on high settings, comfortably. Ultra with a diminished frame rate.
I think the 265 is roughly $150, in the US. So that's brings the totally to approximately $440, and I didn't spare on some of the simple considerations. e.g motherboard chipset or HDD capacity.
Throw in a R9 270 and it will play BF4 on ultra.
Honestly though, I wouldn't bother talking to people like that.
The CPU would easily bottleneck that GPU
Then delid and overclock it.

op, it would be for your health benefit not to engage youtube users.

Unfortunately, after choosing a few decent components and deciding that a small SSD for the boot drive was, in fact, required, I was unable to add a discrete graphics solution to this build. The difference in performance between what I would have been able to add to it (something like a Radeon HD 7770) and the in-built graphics is negligible. This is also a decent enough build that you can add to it later if you wanted to, and it should be able to play many games at medium settings at 1080p. Unfortunately, part of the reason why I couldn't add a discrete graphics card is because of the jump in price of AMD cards due to the sudden proliferation of crypto-coin mining. The other issue is the continuing price inflation of memory components due to the comparably tighter supply-demand relationship thanks to the destruction of one of the major memory foundries. As such, SSDs and RAM are still rather expensive.
The guy on youtube must have been the same one who, I kid you not, said to me "you can't even call yourself a gamer unless you spent at LEAST $4500-$5,000 on your rig, and that is just a DECENT rig!"

-1. bf4 eats ram like crazy. get 8. cpu is really bad.
go with an ahtlon 750k/760k and don't get the 64gb ssd. you can buy a 260x or 265 or maybe a 270. 64gb is not much and more storage on ssd is more reliability and you normally use 70-80% of you storage on a ssd. after 80% it slows down quickly. the rest looks fine.
but i agree with anarekist :p
+1
It's not that you're wrong OP, and you're (we're) right, it's that you may not only be feeding the trolls- you're getting involved and dragged into it. Don't stoop to their level. But I guess educating them has its costs....
Here is your $600 PC.

Went for the 6300 as BF uses the extra cores. Couldn't decide whether to go with the R series and Mantle or nvidia but in the end I realised that the 760 looks sexy. xD Went for the 8 gigs because BF eats RAM like a dog. It's $600 and should max the hell out of BF.
easy - build a system without a gpu for $499 - then i'll 'sell' you my gtx980 for $1
