EDIT: we are expecting in less than a month way more powerful GPUs for around 200$. AMD releases their new GPU line... Until then you can use your integrated gpu in the i5...
The monitor is Freesync 47-75Hz through DisplayPort. It will allow you smooth gameplay even in lower than 60fps...
So you don't need a monitor? I would say that a locked i5 and a 470 or 480 would be the way to go with an ssd and a nice, small case. Could even go miniITX and sff.
wait for the 480. you are throwing money away with 380. be patient.
