$500 dollar budget gaming pc build

I have a list of parts that im thinking of getting. I dont know if they are good or not. The parts are: Thermaltake - 600W TR2 ATX Power Supply,   Western digital scorpio blue 320gb,  gigabyte GZ-F5  case,  LG GH24NS72B Dvd rom,   Intel core i3 3220 dual core processor 3.3ghz 3mb lga cache,   His IceQ X Radeon Hd 7850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5,   Crucial 4GB 240 pin RAM,   ASrock H61M-DGS LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro atx.

You really should try to push your budget up to $600, you can have a decent build for that money. Also, create a pcpartspicker account and post any builds you want us to look at.

A single stick of RAM and a cheap micro atx mobo to accomidate a more expensive case, a massivly overpriced psu and a better cpu? Really? Also, you did not include thermal paste or a fan.

I cant ove my budget up to $600. I can do like $520 or $525 but no more. And is the amd Phenom 2 x4 better than the intel core i3?

And a much better gpu, dont you forget it...

You people gotta learn sometimes that dual chanel doesnt mean anything in the real world

You are aware that psu is the most important piece of pc, right?

I wont even discuss your build in pure politeness...

Have a good evening!  :)

I have a cheaper case at best buy im getting and i dont need another fan or thermal paste because im going to use the stock fan that comes in the case and with the cpu. The main things im worried about is a good GPU to play like arma and gta 4 and a good CPU and PSU.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LhGC (Core i5 $499.29)

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LhJi (AMD FX $514.82)

Being a complete jackass, as usual, I failed to realise that miskonius had squeezed a 7950 into that build. While I maintain that the PSU is massivly overpriced, you should go with his build, with a few changes. Also, even if you use the stock CPU cooler, you should still clean off and reapply the thermal paste, When I got my phenom 2, the thermal paste application on the stock fan was awful.

I found an amd fx-4300 vishera am3+ socket 3.8ghz. I can do the vishera 4300 and its cheaper by 10 bucks and a quad core. And would the Thermal take 600 watt supply work? And for the Amd im going to look for a cheaper motherboard and i dont need the pste because im using the stock fans.

Ok cool. What would you rccomend changing?

I posted the edited build in my last post. I did not include a case since you said you did not need one.

Oh i didnt realise but thank you.

If you have a case (which you should have mentioned sooner)

get a better MB (the prvious wasnt bad but OC-ing wasnt recommendable)

If you do not plan OC-ing you can buy an aftermarket cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and more ram to be be future proof

Dont change the psu you wont find anything better for that money...

You have not been doing your research miskonius. You can get a fully modular, gold rated PSU for less then that price. $110 is too expensive for a bronze psu.

I did mention i had a case. Its in my first post in this thread.

110 is to expensive for me and the promo will end soon which bumps it up to 109

anarmypig you have just become the official jackass of this forum, Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 620W 80 PLUS Bronze costs 69$.its on promo, 40$ disscount ! HELLOOO!

I would be highly gratefull if you would stop questioning my builds, cause obviously you do not know much about anything

The CX 500 in my build will be more than adaquate for $50

I second anarmypig on the corsair cx 500. I love corsair.

It's $69 yes, but that's still $110 out of your pocket until the mail in rebate arrives. And rebates take forever.

Out of pocket, there are a lot of better options for $110.
