5 Parts on a budget

Case: COOLER MASTER HAF XB RC-902XB-KKN1 | $99.99

MB: ASUS Maximus V Gene | $209.99

CPU: i7 3770k | $319.99

RAM: G.SKILL Trident X Series (4 x 8GB) F3-2400C10Q-32GTX | $299.99

Boot SSD: OCZ Technology RVD3-FHPX4-240G | $279.99

If I know my math correctly that's under $1200. That's my budget. Note that its not a gaming focused PC per say. An all rounder.

Any comments, help? First PC build.

No after-market heatsink?

Got the Corsair H80i on route.

My mouth is watering. Though I don't recommend OCZ SSDs that much. You should have gone A-Data or Kingston

Really is it that good?

I'm going for that particular SSD because PCIe. Making it Read & write upto 1 GB/s without tweaking. Plus I'm going to have the kingston be Cache drive for my HDD. This way I get the best of both worlds.

Find a cheaper motherboard and get a CPU Cooler

CPU cooler is on the way settled for the Corsair H80i.

Any recommendations? On the motherboard I mean.

he already said he'll get an H80i

Well, I wouldn't cheap out on the mobo too much, because I believe you plan on an OC. Cheap mobos can't take the OC. If you have the money, that mobo is fine.

Oh, and I didn't notice the SSD was PCI-E. Should be fine

I know, I just wanted to know where he was going to with that cheaper motherboard suggestion.
