5.25 Front Bay 2.5 Raid thingmajig

Hello,

I recently got some SSD for my games as my 240-ish GB Intel one was running out of space, but things have gotten a little messy. :D

I have been meaning to get myself some of the 5.25 front bays for either USB or 2.5 Raid bays for SSD's Haven't followed tech for some while so I can't remember them. But I was thinking are there any 5.25 bays these days that would hold either 2 or 4 SSD's with the ability to create Raid 0? As in more hardware than software? Cause whatever Raid I can make is a pain in the ass trough windows itself. I would like to get my 2 intels into Raid 0 for system and get another one of those SanDisk SSD's also for Raid 0, for games. Not much in terms of performance, but capacity wise. Either way I do need a front bay to hold those SSD's and if anybody knows one please do share. And if there is one with hardware raid available That would be great!

Yeah, something like that.

That's just a dock basically. It doesn't have a raid controller so you would still have to do a software raid in your OS or buy a separate raid controller card if you don't have enough sata ports. I have a 4 bay model similar to the one Vandal85 suggested.

Yeah I can see that... Somehow I think I need to get my priorities straight. My PC is soon to be 5 years old and it does not run games as it used to and I think I first need to save some money for an upgrade next year. Which means different case, different problems...Perhaps. Not in a rush. :D

Same thing. A collection of drawers with electrical pass trough.
I also have a three bay dock for 3.5" drives and an optical drive.
So all my drives are concentrated into the 5.25" bays and I pulled out all the drive cages for max airflow.

Those are Icy dock? I was looking at them. I also saw some 2x 2.5 raid bays, but the price is not worth it.
