4k monitors

So whats everyones experience with the new 4k monitors, I'm thinking of getting the LG 27MU67.

whats the 27" 4ks like with scalling and pixel density, any other note worthy monitors?

I haven't seen a 27" 4k but I currently own a 28" and its okay if you set scaling to 125% but not if you have multiple monitors because the windows have to snap to scale of each monitor and that causes bug with games and such.
PPI is 157.35

ppi is 150, if you've played with one of the 800p 7" windows 8 tablets those are at 200ppi, and that's reasonably usable for me at least a few feet away, needs a bit of scaling though

It's not too bad, but 40" is a lot better for productivity

Also that model comes with free-sync I believe.

yea I don't care about free sync though since the games I'm looking at playing I should hit 60+ and I have nvidia cards lol.

@bluealphagamer thanks for the tip on the DPI, I will be using it along side a dell 2713HM so that would be a reason for concern

I got a ViewSonic VP2780-4K. I chose it based on color accuracy and previous good experiences with ViewSonic.

I don't use display scaling. High pixel density makes even small text sharp and readable enough for me. I sit with my eyes about two feet from the screen.

It accepts a 1080p input from games and I haven't noticed any additional latency when doing so, compared to my previous monitor.

compared to a 27" 1440p how readible is everything?

I haven't spent much time with 1440p so I'm not sure. I upgraded from a VP930b (19", 1280x1024) which I used for about 8 years, so I skipped over a lot of stuff in between.

I see, thanks for the input it was what I was looking for. Small, but usable.
