4g usb modem not getting enough power

So i have a 4g modem with battery and wifi(which is disabled) hooked up to a PFsense box, but it does not seem to get enough power from the pc and its shutting down after a while, and i need to let it to recharge, is there any way i can give it more power without disconnecting it from the pc and using wifi

You could try using a USB Y cable. It has an extra connector which you can hood up to maybe a 2.1A wall adapter to give it extra power. However, it's possible that the adapter itself restricts it's power intake to limit interference, in which case there isn't much that can be done.

EDIT: Sorry, totally forgot to link one.
