43" 4k input lag

The new Phillips 43" 4K monitor - is this a viable alternative to the A409U?

Its IPS and does not suffer from Flicker issues - Instead of PWM it uses DC modulation to prevent flicker.

Input lag was measured at 27ms - as opposed to some users reporting 43ms on the 409U

Thoughts?

There was a good review of the 43" Phillips but I don't remember what they said about input lag. I will say however that there have been a number of people who have experienced rather nasty image 'burn-in' on the Phillips to the point that it scared me away from buying it. (I got the Wasabi Mango UHD430)

Here's the review of the Phillips:

Just one example of burn-in:

Oh wow - thats 'holy crap' levels of bad. Very strange behavior for an IPS panel

My Wasabi Mango UHD430 doesn't have the burn-in problem, nor is there any really noticeable input lag. Keep in mind though that while I don't notice input lag, your mileage may vary.

I dont play 'twitch reaction' based games - I am more after the screen realestate, but still be able to play games like WoWS, Witcher 3, Mass effect, Deus Ex etc.
