It's done! This is the (near) complete build: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/794/saved/2gbW
- CPU: Sandy Bridge-e i7-3930K (Waiting for Ivy Bridge-e i7-4930K to see if it's worth the wait.)
- MBO: ASUS Rampage IV Formula
- GPU: Two ASUS GTX 780s
- Storage: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD, Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
- RAM: 16GB (4x4GB) G.Skill Ripjaws
- PSU: Seasonic Platinum 1000 ATX (1000W Platinum Certified)
- Cooler: Corsair H100i
- Chassis: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2
- Monitor: Triple 24" BenQ XL2420T
So it's pretty much done. I've got everything ordered from NCIX.com where I can go pick up the components in-store and not have to pay for shipping! Fantastic! They had everything but the motherboard which I'll have to order by other means. Currently I have the 3930K ordered however by the time I pick it up the 4930K will be officially announced. Depending on when it releases, it's price, and how it performs against the 3930K I may or may not actually get it. If I do get it I want to see if any motherboards are released alongside it, and if they look like they'll work better than the ASUS IV Rampage Formula then I may make that switch, too. I originally decided to get the BenQ GW2750HMs, but I just changed my mind. Although it's on sale for a great price, reviews are only mediocre. So I've gone all in and decided to get three of the BenQ XL2420T. It's fantastic for everything excluding the fact that it's a TN panel. But I can deal with that. I switched from the EVGA 1000W power supply back to the Seasonic because the guy taking my order strongly suggested I don't get an EVGA PSU due to the large amount of returns from unhappy customers. That speaks for itself.
Let me know your thoughts below! Let's talk about the upcoming Ivy Bridge-e, specifically the 4930K. Thanks everyone for all your help!
