Not only that but if you're blowing 400$ on a new platform , don't buy old standards like ddr3. Buy a slower machine that's on a newer platform so it can actually be upgraded in the future.

its sort of a joke but also a bit alarming cos i was looking at prices for this stuff an its still expensive considering how much better gear is available for that price range...
