£400 Gaming PC

Can someone help me to stick to my budget of £400 with things that I want;

CPU: Anything capable of lasting for 3-4 years for gaming at 1080P. Preferably AMD FX.

Motherboard: Anything good.

RAM: Need this or gaming, I've been hearing 8GBs the sweet spot for gaming but I wouldn't mind going with 4GB as long as it saves me money and is good for gaming.

Hard Drive: This is for gaming so will need at least 1TB, don't have the money for SSD.

Case: Cheap, solid, somewhat good looking.

PSU: Something capable of powering the system with a few extra watts for when I get more storage, RAM, Wi-Fi card, will not be doing Crossfire/SLI - definately.

GPU: I've been attracted to the AMD R9 280 - why? I like the fact that this comes with 3 games with Never Settle Forever Gold instead of 2 if I went with the AMD R9 270/X.

DVD Drive: Don't need one, will put windows on with a USB.

OS: Not included in the budget, if it matters with compatibility - Windows 8.1.

Monitor: Full HD TV.

Periphareals: NONE.

Please give your recommomendations on what to get, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

This first one includes an operating system, but you only get a 750 ti.

On this second one, if you don't need the operating system, then you can grab a R9 280

I picked the case because it has USB 3.0 and its the cheapest out there right now. CPU: G3258 is a beast when overclocked, even on the stock cooler it performs on the i7 4770k level in games. The MOBO has USB 3.0 header to match the case, and with a BIOS update you can overclock the cpu. I put in a single stick of RAM because you can then easily upgrade with another stick later when you have the money. The PSU is cheap but reliable with an 80+ Bronze certification. The biggest choice to make is the GPU, its up to you.
