Im working on a Gaming PC, and as of now my budget is $400. I went with an APU for one reason. Im trying to save money now aswell as play games on medium and low settings until i get enough money for an amazing GPU, then i will disable the integrated graphics and install a better GPU. Im getting a Job over the summer so this computer has to work until then and have all the options for upgradability. Im thinking about getting a Radeon R9 290X when i have the money. Of course i have time to debate until the time arises but will my current build must be able to be upgraded to an amazing Gaming machine when that summertime $$ arrives. Please leave some feedback and suggestions on what i should do. Thanks.

All honesty your better off waiting and buying what you want. building a "amazing gaming machine" is more than just slapping a fast gpu. for starters that MOBO and case will not work for your plans. if your going to have $500 for a 290x I would wait, add that to the $400 you want to spend now and build a $900 rig in the summer which will be able to get you a nice little rig.
Puting a Radeon R9 290X with a APU is bottleneck central + you will need 8gbs of ram with that APU as 2gbs will be dedicated to it from system ram to power its igpu and you will allso need a better psu if you plan to put a monster gpu in there...
APU = not a good upgrade route
APU = not a good upgrade route
yeah my friend told me to do this, i honestly didnt want to go with an APU either, Thanks for the feedback guys!
how about getting a i5 4670k and h87 or b85 performance form asrock. 1tb wd blue. get a case. psu for 500-550$
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2W52x don't know if you have 550$ now. but you can do this and buy an gpu,ssd and cpu cooler later. it's almost my build and i love it! i can try for you how i can play on the hd 4600 graphics if you want.
Haha i guess i revealed an miracle, with the non Z overclock option, on the H87 performance boards from Asrock.. how is it going? i saw you reached 4.5 stable? ☺
first cpu was broken. second cpu 4.5ghz 1.2V:) amazing little board! you can just change the ratio and the Vcore like a normal Z87
i will post some pictures but don't know were to post them.
