3tb Seagate problem

so i just got my hdd and decided to install it, i plugged everything and started windows, i see that my pc is trying really really hard and slow to do anything ( windows didn't even start) so i put my windows 7 dvd inside and want to install but all i see is a partition with 128 gb , doing some more unplugging and leaving only the new hd every actions takes 3 min to make , i went to their website and saw some info about it, but it was for "older ' pc doesn't even write anything about windows 7

windows 8 dvd failed to boot

my motherboard is asus crosshair v formula z , with bios up to date (2013)

if i remember correctly you guys where saying that you're using seagate 3tb to , did you have the same problems to ? is this normal  or should i go for a refund

Someone may correct me if I am wrong, but large HDDs need to be unlocked. Your ROG motherboard should have an unlocking utility.

SOLVED: i contacted the seller and he changed it with a new one, and it works perfectly

P.S. ; i posted about this problem a few more forums, and one person asked some of his friends in a IT department and it seems to be a problem from factory, they had a case when only the 3'rd hdd was working

Good to know that you solved it.
