This will be a workstation for avid, premiere pro and after effects.

This must work very fast and have little to no down time, and with the new x99 chipset

I picked up the Asus Deluxe X99 motherboard, 32GB corsair dominator ram (bought 16gb extra) and 5960x, its part of a bundle pack on Newegg. I used my Phanteks Lux pro,2x 850 pro ssd's, and my 3x 290x vapor X's.

what if wanted some more memory?

well you could buy some more separately which is what i did, although im not even sure 32gb is needed for my use, just wanted to not worry about it for along time, so sick of upgrading every year, figured i would buy early so i dont have to worry for awhile.

what graphics card should I get?

If you're going to be gaming at all, get a gaming graphics card.  Workstation cards are expensive, but good for workstation applications, and are also terrible at gaming.

I'd look into an R9 290 or R9 290X if you can utilize OpenCL.  Otherwise, something like a single GTX Titan for 6GB GTX 780 may work if you use CUDA accelerated applications.

will the titan black work?

because it says that the gtx titan in validated for premire

Yep, a GTX Titan Black will work.
