3D Rendered scene software test

Let's start quality testing of yours favorite 3d rendering application!

First we must decide to use some generic and easy to replicate 3d scene to do this.

Then we will check quality of submitted images.

Let me see your comments

I don't know if that's really a practical thing to do. Most of the 3d rendering quality is more or less dependant on how much processing time is available & user knowledge/skill/effort for detail polishing.

Almost all 3d-render-ray-tracing engines are at an insane level of quality, so much so that it's no longueur the differentiating factor.

If you really want to quantify 3d rendering software, i would go after the best user interface & the speed at which you can create content.

You can use Blender with yafray or sunflow renderer and get awesome photo-realistic results, Blender is open-source, and free of charge. But it takes longueur to create an equally good looking scene then for example with Maya.

You are right, sir.

Never-mind, we can render some tek syndicate stuff, like logos for wallpapers, and be usefull in the process!?
