What is the difference between Nvidia's 3D Vision and AMD's HD3D. Advantages? Compatibility?
Nvidia 3D will work easily with any compatible products (they have a certification). HD3D is not good. It requires a third party program which you have to buy. So, if you want 3D, just go Nvidia. For surround though, AMD has Eyefinity which is supposed to be better.
Edit: surround is multi-moniter showing one large picture.
Seriously 3D is trash especially in games, lots of money on those monitors and glasses for nothing.
3D is 3D, if you like it, good, if not, oh well. But yes, it is very expensive.
And Vision 2 is the newest version correct?
Yes, I belive so, but I think it also just adds support more larger monitors and gasses, so I don't think it will mater much to you, though you might want to look that up.
I just got contacts so taht actually sounds pretty convienent :)
I allways hated how my kinect wanted me to take my glasses off! Come on you can't expect nerds to not wear glasses!
im gonna weigh in on this one with a slightly contraversial view, 3d is still an infient tech witch depends on an archaic method that fucks with your eyes known as the stereoscopic effect by altering the focus of each lense and colour witch filters certain coulors of the light spectrom to create a depth of field in the image witch is also colour altered according to the image layers. great trick but not impressive tech especially for the price and the potential consequences for your eyesight so i would wait untill a new median of 3d is out which isnt so hazerdous to ones health.
I respect your opinion and appreciate your input.
