3d Modeling/Gaming GPU

I started a new build this year, I had planned on making a gaming rig, but I've always wanted to get into animation/3d modeling. I was reading up on it and found some free programs like Blender, K-3D. I plan on getting one of those, I also will use Photoshop, I have Adobe CS6 which I want to learn more about, I'm only using photoshop now. I also want to get Anime Studio 10 later, but I'm not sure about what kind of Gpu to get. For gaming, I know a 780 ti would be more than enough for me, but I've always wanted a Titan, so I've fitted in my budget to get a Titan Black Hydrocopper Signature. But when I'm reading up on these gpu's in workstation builds, for 3d modeling people recommend a Quadro, and some people are like get a Gtx 760. I've even seen some people talk about get a Geforce card AND a Quadro or Firepro. I doubt my 3d modeling will need a Quadro, I know it will be faster, but I'm just doing it for a hobby. No one ever talks about a Titan, why is that? I mean I thought a  Titan would be kind of middle line between a gaming gpu and a workstation gpu. Am I wrong about this? Later on I may build just a workstation, but I'm switching to pc for gaming, so I want to be able to play games, but right now I would probably spend more time using learning about 3d modeling than gaming on it. I haven't gotten all my parts, but for now I have:

I7-4770k( I wish I'd gotten a a 2011, but I'm not returning it now so I'm stuck with that.)

Asrock x87 fatality professional

Kingston HyperX 120 gb (I may use this in another computer and get a 256gb)

WD Blue 1tb (Getting another one and run in raid)

Corsair Vengeance 16 gb 1866

Corsair RM Series 850 watt PSU

I would go with a quadro 4000 for the workstation part and also get a gtx 780 for gaming its not as fast as the titan or 780 ti but its one hell of a card

If I went with the 2 card option, I could probably get a K4000 and a 780 ti. Would you even consider a Firepro?

I wouldn't even consider a professional GPU unless you're doing it professionally, first off... on a technicality standpoint, a 780ti is FAR beyond any workstation GPU you can buy for under $2000... what you're paying for with professional cards is the driver support, customer service, and Open GL accel... for 3D modeling a GTX 650 is more than you'd ever use, as all it's using it for is rotating objects...

when you render, however... THEN it can become very obvious...

IMHO... buy the 780ti... use it until you get a constant crash on rendering operations (if you need that option in what you do) the Quadro and Firepro cards perform very close to one another... so if you do choose to buy another GPU for productivity, they are on a relatively level playing field...

but point blank.... a workstation GPU for 3D modeling is COMPLETELY unnecessary if you have =/>GTX 650 on board...
