3800x voltages

Would it be worth playing with voltages here? This is completely stock, with the only BIOS settings changed being to set the XMP profile.

I think we need to define “worth it”.

Does the CPU meet your performance expectations as is, and how much will you gain from say, a 5-10% increase in clock speed?

How much is that sort of gain worth to you? Are you bottlenecked by CPU speed in anything you run? If not, then you’re throwing time and effort at something that won’t net you any real world gains.

If its a hobby, go nuts… but otherwise… what’s the payoff?

I see you’re running a GTX1080, I’m very much suspecting that a stock 3800x will keep up with that as far as gaming is concerned for example.
