Yes, I already understand that the 3770k will help with video editing, but what I want to know is should I shell out the extra cash for the 3770k or will I be fine with 3570k?
I mean, is there a HUGE gap between the two?
Im planning on doing light editing and rendering 720p videos for YouTube about 10-30 minutes each, in case that info came in handy for you.
(Just as well, should I get 16gb or 8gb RAM for editing and rendering?)
Thanks! -Frostbyter
the 3570k will be pretty good especially OC'd, and id take it over the 8350 just because for what your doing, the video encoding capabilities of the IGPU blow away everything else. and if you get the 3770K and Oc it, nothing else other than a Hexacore i7 or high end server processor will come close.
8Gb should be enough for what your doing but 16Gb will always be nice to have, id suggest getting 8GB and if you need 16 just buy another 8
Also heres a Cinebench score for my 3570K at 4.2Ghz, Actually edges out the 8350 at the same clock speed. (Open it in a new tab so you can read everything)
