hey just overclocked my 3570k to 4.6 at 1.3v and its all stable just wondering if its safe to run at these temps
stock my temps are idle 22c-25c and max load 50-52c
at 4.6 idle is around 23-27c and max load about 69-71c (under prime 95 and intel burn test)
my specs are
Nzxt Phantom
3570k
Havik 140
Maximus v formula
8gb ddr3 1333
7850
That seems a little warm but nothing to get too worried about
Those a great temps, especially for the IntelBurnTest, as that Loads up a CPU and generate more heat than any program in real world use ever would, same goes for prime, if you want you could go to 1.4v and push it a little higher, as 80-85c is where you shouldnt go past for Intels, but if your at 71 stress testing you definitley have headroom.
