$3500 Awesome Gaming PC - Hardware Recommandation

Hey guys,

I'm new here at tek Syndicate!

So lately I have been looking to buy a cool PC which I would use for gaming , rendering etc and I have $3500 to spend on a nice PC.

Before I came here, I watched a few Youtube videos from the tek syndicate channel on the $3500 Workstation especially, but I really dont need 2 CPU's. Id rather invest in one more powerful CPU and some newer tech other then Sandy Bridge.

I come from Europe so some parts might need to be shipped from the internet which isn't a problem.

Since I know here there is a very diverse amount of experienced gamers and PC knowledge ,I'm looking for recommendations to get the best Price to Performance ratio over my system.

The things which are a must for me are:

- Graphics Card : GTX 780Ti SC or better

-HDD: 3 TeraBytes or better.

I would appreciate your help guys!

Thanks all,

Auroratic.

Do you need peripherals or do you already have everything? If you need all peripherals etc. this is an exsample of what you could get for 3.5k$ http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wbGRgs

Features watercooled i7-4790k

Higly overclocking and enthusiast ment motherboard

16 GB of fast ram for editing

256 GB SSD for OS+programs+some games

3TB HDD for mass storage

Dual GTX 780 ti's in SLI

Silent case

4k monitor from ASUS

peripherals with great reviews

If you have any qiestions feel free to ask and I hope I helped :)

290x's tend to outperform 780 ti's at 4k. also from my understanding it is unwise to go with 2 TB or higher HDDs due to significantly higher failure rates. Probably it would be best go with a couple of 1.5 drives.

Insane Socket 2011 Build.

Intel 4930k- Fastest thing there is.

Corsair H100i to cool it.

Asus X79 Deluxe Motherboard

32GB of RAM. 1866Mhz

3 Samsung 840 Pros. Lots of fast storage, for OS and to be used as scratch disks when video editing

3 1TB WD Black drives. More reliable than the 3TB ones.

2 780 TIs. If you are using CUDA. Open CL go for dual 290Xs

Define XL

SeaSonic Gold rated 1050W PSU

With that out of the way let say this. Unless you are gaming at 4k, doing massive amounts of video editing or other productivity work, this build is ridiculous and you could easily get by with something else at a much lower price point.

The 1.5s, especially from Seagate, are God awful. Just run a few 1TB drives.

This build is insane... but it is great. I would go with this if I had $3500 to spend on a PC.

Changes I would make:

Arc Midi R2 Full tower - for better airflow and water cooling options (albeit slightly uglier)

A H105 with push pull Noctua NF-F12's - for those extra few degrees Delta T

Or if he can cut costs somewhere else, a custom loop

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your support especially hoocee12 and DerKrieger :D

If you guys have more suggestions to make from the builds they put up please leave your thoughts below !

Thanks
