£350 pc

Hello guys so here is the situation. My little brother and sister got a PC to share for Christmas. i personally set it up and it automatically booted with windows 8 as it should and prompted me to create an account. I did then logged out and went to set it up in my sisters room. I went to log back on and it wouldn't accept the password i had entered twice to make so i knew it was right but it was having none of it. So here is the dilemma. Should i build them a PC would it be worth the hassle compared to a pre-built one at the price range. It has to have windows 8, monitor, keyboard, mouse and my mom wanted it to have office. If it is worth it could anyone link a build and if not then could they link a pre-built one. The main purpose is for homework.... heck what am i saying my brother and sister LOVE minecraft so i would need to be able to run a modded version of minecraft smoothly. The budget as you see above is the £350 mark with everything included(my mom is adamant about office but i personally use openoffice so why shouldn't they)

Also if im felling generous when i upgrade i may give them some of my parts and my birthday is in march so that is an advantage of the self built PC.

Thanks for reading and have a great new year.

No it was an account i had to set up myself, no Microsoft account was used. The computer has been taken back and refunded and it was http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2427021.htm with 1 year office and McAffe on offer for £349.99

thanks great build. One question is the windows legit (i personally dont care but my mom does) and im curious. Also how do they send it and how do i install it. Only ever done one os installation through a disk.

thanks great overview of that build sounds solid thanks very much.
