Since my 27 inch dell u2711 seems to surrender it's service (blue dots in certain grey tones, on the first DVI port it's unbearable and it also starts on the second one aswell) I'm thinking about getting a new one, and up to 30 inch this time. I really liked my current dell monitor so I was thinking of getting the newer 30 inch version of this one the u3014 I believe, but 1000 bucks is kind of expensive so I wanted to know if anybody knows a cheaper alternative to the dell one?
Specs I need: 60 herz 30 inch IPS (preferred) 1600p resolution
How about a FW900? It will do 2560x1600 at 72Hz and has better color, contrast, and viewing angles than an IPS. It can also do 1920x1200@96Hz or 1536x960@120Hz. The only issue is that it is only a 24".
Yea I know it's weird, I can't get decent 30 inch monitors for less than 1000, but I can get a 4k IPS monitor with 27 inches and 60 herz for 650, it's just really really weird, one should think that it is much more difficult to get a higher pixel density.... thanks anyway
