3 Titan Z gpu for mining?

Could 3 titan z graphics card mine bitcoins efficiently because they Nvidia said 3 of them equal the power of the google brain so how many bitcoins could be mined at what speed with one.

It's generally believe that Nvidia cards aren't fit for mining, hence, the price hikes of AMD cards due to high demand from bitcoin miners, and not with Nvidia cards. You know how AMD cards destroy Nvidia cards in OpenCL rendering? Well, it's the same with bitcoin mining.

Even if they were some how faster than an AMD equivalent card which they wouldn't because OpenCL performance and mining is pathetic on nVidia cards you'd never make back your investment.

GPU mining bitcoins isn't a thing anymore. Its too difficult. The power you'd use and the cost of the parts is so great for little return. You'd most likely lose money mining with GPUs let alone break even.

You'd be better off with two R9 295X2s but even then you wouldn't make anything.

Considering the R9 295X2's are more powerful for mining and half the price, I would go with 2 of those. But still, like DerKrieger said, GPU mining is pretty much dead.

let me start by saying i know pretty much nothing about actually mining.

However, unless i am mistaken, isn't 4-way SLI the MAX? a Titan Z is 2 GPUs in one, it is already 2-way SLI. so you couldn't even use 3 Titan Zs. max would be 2 of them, which equal 4 GPUs.

am i wrong?

for mining you are wrong.  You can use as many cards as you want when it comes to mining because it doesnt need crossfire/sli profiles

Pointless seeing you can get asic boards much cheaper that will out mine the 3 cards. Honestly better off lowering the price point and getting this. These will crush that 3 card setup. :D https://www.asicrunner.com/5-x-HexFury-Set-Free-USB-Fan_p_23.html
