My neighbor bought something at auction because the pallet was brand new so he figured whatever was on it was never used. I think he may be right. It was 2 Cisco DS-C9706 SAN devices. They look like they’ve never been off the pallet till the auction. He asked me to help him figure out what to do with them or find someone who can use them. I don’t even have the facilities to power them on. I have no idea if they work or what could even be done with them. Are they OF USE? Are there people out there who could make use of them who wouldn’t just buy them direct from Cisco? They weigh like 500 pounds I am at a complete loss.
Looks like they are end of life Fiber channel fabrics from last decade …
the racks may be worth more than what’s inside especially if they come with non cisco proprietary PDUs …
