iv got a GTX 295 if anyone is interested, its the dual pcb one, 1.75mb vram, was working, but now it displays nothing at all, so i need to fund a new card, im in ireland so shipping to U.S. would be alot and you'd have to pay, to U.K. and europe would be better, thanks
EDIT: i have replaced the thermal paste and cleaned out the fan
It seems to be a dead card....
896MB Vram.
Do you have a budget for a new card?
yeah but when i turn it on the fan turns on like normal, no beeps at all and the green light comes on, nope 1.75mb its the duel pcb one, like internal SLI
It is 896MB Vram, 2 lot's of Vram do not add up in SLi or crossfire solutions...
1.75GB is a nice marketing ploy by Nvidia... AMD do the same with their 6990/ 5970, the 5970 is 1GB, and the 6990 is 2GB.
oh shit yeah, i wasn't thinking of the card as like normal SLI :L my bad, either wayn it needs gone, any good websites to put it on (besides ebay)
Hmmm, not really...
Local news paper?
I doubt you will find a person who is enthusiastic enough to try and get it working...
well i have all the equitment to try and fix it but i really dont have the time and i think its about time i went Dx11 although im using a 6450 atm xD whice does get playable rates on medium settings at 1080p
I think it is time to hit the DX11 track, and use your 295 as a lovely mantle piece :)
Cards on a budget for DX11:
Radeon 7850
GTX 480
6950 (if you can find one)
7850 and GTX 480 are both the fastest from the selection (GTX 480 is much more power hungry vs the 7850, but is a stunning performer- from personal experience)
The 7850 promotes efficiency with speed, it does that gracefully :)
oh im all up-to-date with the new gpus xD but i think my budget would only allow for a 7770 :( il up grade to an 8xxx or 9xxx in a year or 2
Well i have looked over on scan, the 480 is now sold out, and probably will never be sold on there again :/
But the 7850's have all had price drops!!!!!
This is a banging deal for the money:

thats the one i was just about to link here xD would i have much head room for Oc'ing with that card
Typically a Radeon 7850 can OC to around 1100mhz-1250mhz (depends on the GPU, and how willing you are to push it)
well im not hard pressed on an oc, might do a mild one just cause i can xD thanks for your help :)
