What god darn 24" monitor should I get it's so dang hard. Can someone please help.

Depends on the use. If you play a lot of games and can afford it, I would highly suggest buying the BenQ 24 inch 120hz monitors. I've got two of them, and they're amazing. I'll never go below 120hz on any monitor for gaming ever again.
Yeah for FPS gaming, the Benq xl2420t is the best monitor. For RPG, MMO or even RTS I would look at getting a good IPS panel with decent ms time. Something like:

Those are nice, i have 2 of a similar model myself.
I was looking at the ASUS VS248H would that be good for fps gaming?

It will work. I used a VH236H for a while before moving to 120hz panels. It wont be nearly as fast, but definetly a fine monitor
If you're going to be playing FPS games mostly I would suggest either a cheap 120hz LED, or a CRT monitor.
What cheap one would you recommend?
