2080 ti Overclocking on Ubuntu 19.04

I have spent whole day trying to get 2080ti to overclock (lock in P0) state without any luck. Googling seems to only lead to endless dead ends. Has anyone got first hand experince overclicking 2080ti on 18.04 or 19.04 ?

Theres utilities to do it but they’re really old and really only work on 340 and back.

As such. theres not much of a reason to? At least I never wanted to OC my gpu’s. I’m not sure that many really think about that on linux, but I’ll agree with you early that we need some tools.

Until nvidia gives us better access to the hardware, however, IDK that you’ll be able to OC your card.

Have you tried custom BIOS to just raise the power target? that would enable GPU boost to boost the card higher, ive done this on my 1060 rig, works like a charm!

Im happy to send you links if you want me to!

EDIT: there is also a app called “GreenWithEnvy”, will post a screenshot of me using it, works fine!

Take a look at corectl. Might be what you need. Theres a thread here on it.
