2011 socket or 1155 socket

i would like to know whether a 2011 socket would be a better buy that a 1155 socket

If you're on a budget; 1155. These CPUs of this socket (Sandy/Ivy Bridge) are great overclockers and will suit well within your needs. But can you exactly tell me what is it that you're using the PC for?

Or else, don't care about money but want to go with the best; 2011.
