yeah very doubt full of MSI, could you reccomend any gigabyte asrock or asus mobos, or pick one out of the two i listed

i personaly mostly prefer Asus or Msi boards on the intel Z87 platform, so  the Asus Z87 pro or the maximus Hero for you then ☺

How many msi mobos have you had?

i have an old Msi-945PL NEO €50 or so that time.., its in my old rig, that my parrents also used for a while its arround 9 years old, and still working great i have to say, its allmost older then me lol :D

Long story short i never had issues with msi "intel" boards, as long as you buy a decent one. on AMD AM3+ the msi line of boards just suck, same as the Gigabytes by the way.

Now i personaly have an Asus board in my new rig (AMD), and thats also fine. If you have the best feelings with Asus i would just say go with Asus, you cant  go wrong with an Asus. With msi its just you get what you pay for, cheap boards are crap, semi/higher end boards are great. But thats basicly for all brands. i personaly allways look at specs and do alot of research, and  reading user reviews. to see which boards have a lot of issues, and which dont.
