2 PC & 1 Laptop Dual Monitor KVM Recommendations

Hey y’all,

I’m currently using AV Access KVM Switch Dock for a Laptop and 2 Desktop PCs (have been using for ~7 months) and while I’m somewhat happy with the KVM, it is not really what I would call a “great” experience.

It is not very responsive at times and lately, the Laptop connection specifically has been giving me tons of issues (will not register for 1-2+ minutes at some and sometimes not at all till I reboot the KVM, swap inputs, etc.). I’ve been searching for the past few weeks for a replacement, but there just does not seem to be anything out there that supports the same configuration and is not sketchy as hell.

Would love to know if anyone has had good experiences with a KVM in this configuration! Below are some details on my machines and some misc information for some more context.

PC1: Ryzen 3700X, 2070 Super, TUF gaming X570 Plus Wifi, Windows 10
PC2: Raspberry Pi5 running Raspberry PI OS
Laptop: Lenovo P16 (Gen 2?) with12900HX and A3000

Monitor1: LG 27GP850-B Ultragear Gaming Monitor 27" QHD (2560 x 1440) Nano IPS Display
Monitor2: ViewSonic VX2267-MHD 22 Inch 1080p (Only monitor I can fit vertically oriented because there is a set of cabinets above my desk)

Peripherals: Various usb devices (Webcam, headphones, keyboard, etc) routed to KVM via Anker USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 10-Port Hub. Only my mouse is routed directly to the KVM because I had some issue with VIA on some keyboards using the Keyboard input on my current KVM.

One of my main constraints is space since my office is small and has a desk built into the wall that I can’t alter. So I’m really not looking for a solution with a 3PC Dual monitor KVM where I route my laptop through a docking station from the KVM.

The P16 requires external power, so power pass through is not a priority for the laptop. However, I may be getting a new laptop soon which isn’t quite as beefy since most of my work now is done on servers so I don’t really need the local horsepower, so could be good if it has this for future proofing.

Let me know if you have any questions about the setup and I’d be happy to elaborate on anything! Thank you all in advance!
