2.5" HDD for gaming

I have got hold of a old HDD from a netbook, it benchmarks at about 50MB read and write, Is this fine for gaming in terms of loading times etc; as I'm going to be using it for a storage drive for my installed games

50MB R/W is slow, about half that of a 3.5" HDD without fragmentation, but for gaming, you don't need fast R/W. After the few initial loads, which will inherently be slower, the stress is on the GPU and CPU, not HDD/SSD. It will be fine.

I have the fractal r4 so I was going to put it on the motherboard tray on the back along with my SSD so I don't need to have the HDD cages

Thanks
