building a new system and trying to decide between a 780 ti, 2 - 290's or perhaps a 290x or two. I have been following the news, and i have thought about the new upcoming 980. Will any of these sli or x-fire configs work with an 850w psu and an overclocked 4790k?
im looking to buy used and have a budget of around 600 bucks

Thanks man! I was worried that 2 - 290x's would kill it. according to the online psu calculators, its over 850w... i think the 2- 290x's will be the best performance
in terms of price to performance 2x290 will be the best bang for buck.
But im personaly not realy a fan of dual gpu setups. because its consuming more power, and you still can suffer from scaling issues in some games.
So i dont know which resolution you wanne play?
i only have a 1080 monitor but plan on getting a 1440p one for Christmas
