1TB HDD - Seagate or Western Digital

Barracuda ST1000DM003 Hard Drive

or

WD Blue WD10EZEX Hard Drive

I'm getting it for all my stuff that isn't windows. I'm not looking to be constantly writing and rewriting hundreds of GB or anything, just more or less standard usage. Both are pretty much the same price, the seagate is $60 and the WD is $65, if the WD is a better choice idc about the extra 5 bucks.

I live in Canada, so most places either wont ship here or have insane shipping fees. That and they will take for freaking ever, whereas the place I'm looking to get one of these from (NCIX) takes 2 days to get here, with normal shipping.

You'd probably be fine either way. I've used WesternDigital hard drives in the past, no complaints, but never used Seagate before. I'd probably go for the cheaper one.

Seagate used to be the best and most popular drive, but Western Digital are supposed to be a little more reliable these days.

You would be fine with either. The WD drive would be the safer option, in my opinion.

Well, with the difference I could get an entire game, if they are so close then I guess I'll save the 5$. Thanks for the help. :)

HDD + game gets my vote!
