1Gbp/s Wireless AC AP

So I am looking for good cheap 1Gbp/s Wireless AP.
That is 802.11 AC if I am not mistaken.
Anybody has any suggestions.

More I research more confusing it gets. Something about throughput being dependent on amount of antennas being used for 5Ghz.

  • Good
  • Cheap
  • 802.11ac/1Gbps

Pick two. (note picking cheap and 802.11ac does not get you 1Gbps, well it might, just)

Whats your budget.

☺️😊 What I ment was cheapest that would give me 1Gbp/s Wireless

These might be options, minimum of 1Gbps

Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-PRO WLAN access point

Not cheap, but worth every penny - just be aware that you will need the controller software to manage the accesspoint; The controller software is free, and will run on window, mac and linux;

I have it running happily on a raspberrypi2 and gracefully keeping care of 3 of the APs.

The APs, are multi ssid and can utilize VLANs; I e.g. have separate vlans for streaming (aka smart TVs, FireTV), my network and guests network;

The pro series realy implements enterprise features; One can even create vouchers for guests; I use those, so a guest will get 6h access to the wlan at a time; than the access is being denied automatic

yeahhh.
For now I will stick with 1Gbps wired and 802.11n wireless.

Thanks everybody for suggestion.

P.S.
I thought since I was looking for only the wireless AP and not the hall Routers+Switch+wireless AP it would be $50-$75.
Looks like that is not the case

Its weird, not sure why, its the same reason head sets that have more features arent more expensive than headphones.

If you drop below 1Gbps it does get cheaper. ac is still fairly new though, and the higher the bandwidth the higher the cost as theres more components.
