1600Mhz Ram running at 1333

Hi guys my problem is this,

I bought a 8Gb kit 2x4 DDR3 1600Mhz kingston hyperx blu and they are running at 1333, my pc is running fine but i was wondering if i should find a way to make them run at 1600 or leave them at 1333Mhz

My motherboard is a Gigabyte H55M-S2H and i have an intel core i3 530.

Thanks in advance.

Go into the BIOS and look for something about XMP Profile and set it to 1600.  It should be in there somewhere.

Your current i3 doesn't support anything higher than 1333, so yur motherboard automatically tones it down. If you want to fix it your going to need a new processor, your current one isn't all that great right now anyway.

you can overclock the FSB to both increase CPU and RAM clock but you need to mess with voltages, maybe not if you can lower your CPU multiplier but I don't think your MOBO can do any of those things

Thanks i found that, i changed the XMP profile and now they are at 1600, now i just need to see if it stays stable.
