This is a build for my friend. He loves good graphics so he wants to go all out on this one. He wants to play games like Battlefield 4 on the highest possible settings known to man. What would you change to give him the most performance for gaming. I'm not really sure about my motherboard or my PSU i feel like I could do a bit better. His budget is from 1k to 1500k USD. Thanks for your input!
That PSU and MOBO will do the job fine.
If I were to change anything, I'd be getting dual channel memeory over the single 8GB stick of RAM.
A 7990 will fit in that case and you can get one for like 700$, it will be much faster than a 780.
Think you've made some solid component choices. Be careful not to overspend on your GPU. You need to match your GPU performance to your display configuration.
