Okay we are going the old server part on ebay option xD Im got 2 Intel XEON LGA 771 CPU's and 8gb of DDR2 5300F RAM sticks and a GTX 660 GPU. I need to know of a motherboard that will take all of these parts. Any thoughts?
Have you searched LGA 771 Motherboard on ebay?
if you buy server board, you may run into some trouble. Some boards wont boot without fans connected and they have their own connectors, nothing like 3 or 4 pins.. my board has 6 pin and they can be non-standard size so it wont fit in normal case.
Also don't expect too much, DDR2 + these xeons are pretty old and slow
Btw there is "hack" where you may be able to run 771 xeon in 775 board, just sticker on your cpu. I didnt investigated it, but you can check that out
