1440p Monitors

Hey, I'm in a pickle and need some dire help. I can't make up my mind on a 1440p monitor. I have been looking at both the...

QNIX QX2710 Perfect Pixel: (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4JH1GM6846)
and..
Asus PB278Q: (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236294)

Is the PB278Q worth my extra money? Should I save some extra cash and go with the QNIX? Or is there a better option in the sub 450$ range? Whichever monitor I purchase will be used as my new secondary monitor. I need your opinions, forum. Which one should I get?

@Fistina What would you say is the most outstanding favorite feature of the PB278Q? Is the monitor pretty solid overall?
@thetreefrog How is the stand on the QNIX? Is it super bad as it looks in pictures/reviews?

Well It's very sturdy, but I think it's a very good monitor for what your getting. I just wish it was 1ms.

In all honestly you maybe better off with the Qnix though, it's a hell of a lot less money, I just can't speak to it's quality because I've never had one, but I would have bought that instead probably.

yes i have to say the stand is as bad as they say but for 220$ i have to just get over it. with the money i saved i can get a wall mount.

I just got the QNIX. Great monitor, cant beat that price. But just like every review you have read about it, the stand is crap. There is also no built in monitor menu. Other than that, its great, cant wait to get a new rig with another DVI port to get another one of these.
